Our Past Projects (1988 - Present)
"True progress is to know more, and be more, and to do more.
" - Oscar Wilde, poet and writer
Since its founding in 1988, the Midnight Sun Solar Rayce Car Team has been designing and building world-class solar cars, while educating and inspiring people all around the world. Each iteration of the car encourages a deep devotion to hard work, persistence, and a bit of ambition. It is with our teamwork that we can call ourselves one of the top teams in Canada. Over the years, we have been fortunate to receive a Guinness World Record, podium finishes, and numerous awards. With 10 cars under our belts, we are only getting started as Midnight Sun moves closer to a truly sustainable future.
